Christine Patterson Obituary

Christine L. Patterson The Lord called Chris back to his home on May 11, 2008. Born February 12, 1940 in Biddeford, Maine, she was the youngest of four siblings and the daughter of Harry Leon and Eva Abigail (Timmons) Wilson. A cherished wife, loving mother, awesome grandmother and great grandmother, she leaves behind her husband, Robert W.; her brother, Larry J. Wilson her daughter Kathy and her husband Dale Smith; her daughter Cindy and her husband Gordon Smith; her grandchildren, Aimee Anderson, Lisa and her husband Anthony Norton and their children Nathaniel and Jenessa; and Lori Anderson. Chris grew up in Biddeford Maine where she met her sole mate, Robert. Married in 1958; they made California their home where they raised their family and made many friends. Her passion in life was her family. She was very involved in raising three generations. One of her most recent joys was lying in bed with her great grandson Nathaniel, talking and eating popcorn and watching videos. She loved the Lord, was the family genealogist, enjoyed gardening and reading as well as taking extended cross country trips in the motor home with her husband Robert and their dog Katie. Her cheerful spirit, zest for life and concern for others, earned her a special place in the hearts of all those who knew her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Words cannot express the void we feel since she left us, but we look forward to when we will reunite in the heavens above. WE LOVE YOU! Visitations will be held starting at 10:00 a.m. with a celebration of her life at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2008 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1475 Edgewood Road, Redwood City, CA. Followed by a family dedication and interment at Alta Mesa Memorial Park in Palo Alto.
