Cynthia L. Jackson
Former resident of San Jose
Age 56, was raised in San Jose, CA. She departed this life on Sat. May 19, 2012; devoted wife for 26 yrs to Ricardo Jackson; loving mother of Asheena T. and Shamara M. Jackson; also survived by her granddaughters, Na'ilah and Lailah; mother, Alice Herron; three brothers Joseph, Keith, Kerry and four sisters, Darlene, Valerie, Monique, Kimberly and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Jackson worked for the US Postal Service for over 17 years. She lived many years in Center Township.
Funeral will be 11 am Thursday, May 24, at Seeds of Greatness, 190 Quigley Blvd, New Castle, DE 19720; viewing 9-10:45 am only.

I always remember two things about Cynthia. The first one is how she described the way she had to teach herself the duties of her first job in HR since no one lent her a hand, and she succeeded! The second was her feistiness - she wouldn't take stuff from anybody! She is missed by many. God bless, Ricardo.

Ricardo and family:
Sadly, I only just learned of Cynthia's passing. She was my co-worker in Pittsburgh, we traveled together to give training in Greenville and I will always think of her when I make her crab mousse recipe she shared with me. She is gone much too soon and will be deeply missed. She was a great lady, co-worker and friend.

Just wanted to give my condolences. Not only was she My kids Grandma She was a great person.She will truly be missed.Its rare in life as you get older that you meet someone that you instantly Love. Cynthia was an outspoken and friendly colleague who was always ready to help others. She was a great person and a kind soul, and I learned a lot from her. I will miss her dearly and remember her with fondness. My sincere condolences to Ricardo and the rest of the family.
