Danny will be missed by many people. He taught me some valuable things. One time when I was suffering from a broken relationship, he told me "if the worst you get out of life is a broken heart then you are truly over paid." He taught me that there are worse things that can happen to people and he gave me the hope to recover. Thanks Danny....

When I would hear Danny share about how he always asked God to help him "not take nothin' and to take care of the Kid", he would remind me of how very simple life should be. He gave me a medallion once (an 11 year one, I believe) and I will always be indebted to him, not for the gift, but because of what was behind the gift. The love of one tongue chewing, babbling idiot to another. All of us in recovery are indebted to him. And as Dr. Bob has said and I'm sure Danny would concur, the way to repay that debt is to pass on what so freely has been given to us. Danny did it as well as anyone ever had. Peace to his family and I hope they let him play first base and bat 4th in the lineup. He deserves another shot at the "bigs".

My deepest condolences to the family of Dan O’Connor. I vaguely remember Mr. O’Connor since I was still a young child when his family moved. The last few hours I’ve heard many stories about the man who passed away. How he was well liked, respected, and a loving father and husband. But mostly how he was a good family friend & neighboor he was. Hearing these stories from my own family with smiles on their faces tells me that he had a great impact on them. He sounded more like extended family. I could only imagine how good of a man he was.
Although it is a great loss that Mr. O’Connor has passed the memories & thoughts of him will continue.

God has shown great favor to the many that had a chance to know Danny O'Connor. I learned much about being a man following his examples of transparent truth, honesty and humility. This mans earthly legacy will live for a very long time. I will never forget how much in awe he was daily of the awesome gift of God's life changing power. Much love in prayer to Moms and the family. A new glorified body for the man... because of Jesus!

I was sorry to read the passing of Mr.O'Connor. I remember Mr. O'Connor and his family when we were neighbors in Sunnyvale. Even though several years have passed, I remember how Mr. O'Connor and his family were so very helpful and friendly when my father passed away in 1974. Mr.O'Connor and his family were great neighbors. They made my childhoood very memorable.
