Still miss you kid. I'll feel guilty forever seeing the truth about how you felt and just being too distracted. Wish I could hug you again and say it will be ok

My life is the album
and the people in it are the pictures. There is only enough space for the people who matter. And in my album, you have a lot of space to fill up with precious memories filled with love and meaningful friendships .It's already been a year since you were here. Maybe you're a bird or a shooting star or an angel.
Whatever it is, i'm sure you are something beautiful like u where here. I miss u.

Words can't begin to express the empty ache I still have every day when I think about Dan. Danny was the epitome of selflessness. No matter how much he hurt he found time to say something nice to someone else. I cry so much wishing I could have found some way to make him understand how much he meant, how much people loved him. It breaks my heart to think he left wondering why he just couldn't be what he wanted to be and feel the way he wanted to feel. There are no words to express the sorrow I feel every time I close my eyes and see his face during one of our conversations. A look of longing and emptyness hidden behind kind, brown eyes. His loss is tragic and a piece of my heart remains empty forever as a result. I keep his messages as a reminder of keeping strong. He was wise beyond his years when it came to helping others. I just wish he would have seen the meaning in his words for himself. I miss you so freaking much Danny. So much.

Dan was a classmate and a great friend to me at Sackler. I can honestly say I never heard him utter an unkind word about another human being. He was as humble of a person as you could ever hope to meet. I remember on one instance he crossed me up pretty badly on the basketball court and scored on me in highlight reel fashion. While everyone was celebrating his unbelievable move, he simply looked at me and said "Hey, you're good too." I will miss his gentle, relaxed spirit, his infectious laugh, and his kind and genuine smile. Dan and his family will be in my prayers. Goodbye my friend.

We knew Danny from UC tennis, PA and from Beth Am. Our oldest daughter, Danielle and Danny were in Hebrew school (a year apart), youth group together and tennis camps together. His never ending cheery influence on the other kids was infectious. When my daughters both shared with me the news about Danny, the world lost a one of special people that touches lives, memorably. In his short life, he left his mark making the world that much better with his indelible smile.

Danny..."I wanted to be able to put time into writing cuz you're important" as you once said to me. Such a sweet, funny, genuine, caring, smart, sports-loving dude. I missed you already and I always will, my friend.

Danny and I played tennis together for many years in Palo Alto. We attended hebrew school together. My heart goes out to his family and friends. While I had not been in touch with him in almost 10 years I remember him a positive and energetic friend. Always laughing, smiling, and raising the mood of everyone around him. Danny, I will always remember you. alav ha-shalom.

There isn't a memory I have of Danny where he wasn't smiling, making jokes or laughing. He was will always be one of the most amazing human beings I have ever come by and I fee fortunate to have known him. He was always welcoming, always friendly and if you needed a shoulder to cry on, he was the person who you would go to. Sending lots of prayers and strength to all his family and friends. A true gem and wonderful guy, you will be missed Danny boy. Thank you for all the wonderful memories.

Danny and I went to Hebrew school together, we were in youth group (BATY) together, I danced my first dance with him at my Bat Mitzvah (because I thought he was the dreamiest). He was a beautiful soul, always kind and generous, and I will never forget him. I'm sending love to wherever he is, and am holding his family and friends in my thoughts.

Dan was one of the most sensitive gentle souls here at Sackler. He wanted so badly for all of us students to be a source of support for one another through this challenging time. His life was too brief. His smile and memory will live on in each of us whose life he touched. You will be greatly missed Dan.

Danny was always smiling, always fun to be around and I really looked up to him in college. Anyone who can manage pre-med at Emory and be on that championship tennis team, all while being a great person was an impressive feat.

Daniel was a classmate of mine at the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv. In our first year at Sackler, Dan organized a "study strategies" group in order to get students organized towards tackling difficult subjects. This group still lives on at Sackler and has become a staple for all first year students. Dan will be greatly missed for his friendly attitude and his generosity of spirit.

I had the privilege to get to teach Daniel tennis during his senior year of high school. I always looked forward to his lesson because of his drive and passion. He was a terrific young man, son, brother, and friend. He will be missed by all.
