I just read about an old friend from Willow Glen High School. So tragic to lose such a nice person as David.

Dave was one of the the most kind and giving people I've ever met. I haven't seen him since High School/College Days, but would hear every once and awhile about him. I was so pleased he was blessed with a wonderful wife and family. I know he would always have put them first, because that's who he was. Reading the memories of Steve Denton and Ken McKeever only reinforces what a great guy he remained throughout the years. My condolences to his family. I'm profoundly sorry for your loss.

Dave had the ability to make you feel like it was just yesterday when you last saw him, no matter how long it had really been. I can't remember a harsh word crossing his lips. We truly miss you my friend. Condolences and prayers to your family.

Dave was a very unique individual. He had the best morals I think I have ever seen in a person. I have worked with Dave for 4 years and I feel blessed to have known him. It's unfair that a wonderful man, husband, father, and friend is taken away from us so soon! Dave will be forever missed! My heart and prayers go out to his wonderful family. I know how hard this is on all of you.

Dave was a man of God, great morals and beliefs which never changed all that much over the years. I had the pleasure of meeting Dave in 1965 at our Willow Street Park. From the summer day we became great childhood friends. I am a better man today having known Dave Ash and for that I am very thankful. My great memories of Dave will carry me through this most difficult loss.

Dear Jan,
My prayers are with you and your family. I used to talk to Dave at all of the soccer games...standing on the sidelines so many times. He was such a kind person and he wasn't just there to support his own son but he really cared about all of the kids. Jan, thank you for always being so kind and caring and for all of your warm hugs. I hope that I can one day repay you with one of mine,
Love and blessings, LindaO
