Dee Rowe Obituary
April 25, 1920 - January 17, 2014
Resident of Modesto
Dr. Dee Rowe passed away Friday, January 17 at the age of 93. After graduating from Stanford University in 1942, he enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corp serving from 1942-46.
Dr. Rowe practiced dentistry for 34 years. After graduating from UCSF in 1950 he practiced in San Jose until 1967. He then practiced in Stanislaus County until his retirement in 1984.
Dr. Rowe is survived by his sister Bette Rowe of Princeville, Kauai and her children, Terry, Craig, Clifford and Joan; and by his younger son, Eric Rowe, daughters-in-law, Mimi Leavitt of Santa Cruz and Maryanne Rowe of Homer, Alaska. He is preceded in death by his oldest son, Bill Rowe of Alaska, 2009 and wife, Corinne, 2010.
The commemorative service is February 22, 9:30a.m. at CAF Hangar 1S, 700 Tioga Drive at the Modesto Airport. Donations can be made in his name to the Stanislaus Dental Foundation, 2401 E. Orangeburg Ste. 675-319, Modesto 95355.

What a privilege to have known and worked with Dr. Rowe for 15 years. What a great man and friend. I never tired of hearing about his exciting life in the military. A smart, great role model indeed! I miss you Dr. Rowe.

I was so lucky to have worked with Dr. Rowe for the last 13 years. I enjoyed his sense of humor and his great stories. He was a very caring man and always took the time to ask how you were. It was an honor to have known him and become his friend.

What a pleasure to have known Dr. Rowe. He was a friend when you needed one and he was always the same every time you happened to meet him.
I still sport some of his dental work from many years gone by. The casual time I was gifted to spend with him hunting will always be treasured by me.
He certainly deserved the long full life he was granted. My best wishes and prayers go to all those who knew him.
