Dennis Wyatt Obituary

Dennis Wyatt
August 24, 1944 - November 19, 2021
San Jose
Our dad and husband, Dennis Wyatt, passed away on November 19, 2021 at 77 years old.
He was born in New York to the late Janet and Allan Wyatt and spent his childhood in San Leandro, CA. After graduating from San Jose State University, Dennis dabbled in many different careers (including acting!) before finding his true calling as a social worker. Dennis was a social worker for Santa Clara County for over thirty years. After retirement, Dennis stayed busy attending community college classes, volunteering for the Child Abuse Council and being a member of the The Italian American Heritage Foundation. He also spent his free time shopping, gardening, and traveling around the world with his family.
A devoted husband and father, Dennis loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Dennis was predeceased by his beloved son Aaron. Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Marlene, son Glenn, daughter Carrie (Benjamin), and granddaughters Sadie and Clara.
His funeral will be held at Hills of Eternity Memorial Park in Colma on Sunday November 28 at 1 pm. A celebration of life will immediately follow at Il Fornaio Restaurant in Burlingame.
Donations may be made to Dennis' favorite charity, the Bill Wilson Center in Santa Clara.
