Resident of Mountain View
We have lost our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and special friend on her way home from a winning 49er game due to a massive stroke. She was a gentle spirit who touched the lives of all she met. Dolores loved to play cards and trivial pursuit with her many friends and large family. You always wanted her to be on your team since she usually knew the answer and held the best cards. She loved travel and often combined her love of the 49ers with her love of travel. Dolores is survived by her loving children Mike, Jan (Tim), Cindy, Tom; grandson Stephen; siblings Bill Gretz (Rena), Peg Normandin (Lon), Barb Prosper (Vic), and sister in-law, Jean Gretz.
She is also survived by wonderful nieces, nephews and friends from her many clubs and activities. She was preceded in death by her father Bill Gretz Sr., mother Bertha Gretz, husband Bill Winans and brother Paul Gretz.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7, Vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Cusimano Colonial Mortuary, 96 W. El Camino Real, Mtn. View. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 582 Hope St., Mtn. View. Please sign the online guest book at:

As president of Mid-Peninsula Widows and Widowers Assn. I want to extend the deep sympathies of all our members who knew Dolores. We are glad we had her for a member for the time we did. We especially remember her from our game night each month. May your many happy memories of Dolores sustain you in this sad time.
