Long time resident of San Jose
Don Gordon passed away on Feb. 5, 2017 of heart failure. He was a loving, devoted, happy, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Don was born in 1932 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and grew up in Lodi, CA. After attending high school at Lodi High, Don joined the Airforce in 1951 as an aerial photographer and he met Betty Mae Engle when he was stationed in Topeka, Kansas. They were married in February 1955.
He earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration at San Jose State University. Don worked at Lockheed Martin for 30 years in Marketing before retiring and running his own marketing business, Full Spectrum Technologies, for many years.
Don loved life and others. He enjoyed spending time with family, hiking, photographing nature and people, watching football, traveling, and playing cards. Everyone looked forward to being with him.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Agnes and Wilbur, and his brothers, Alex and Jack Gordon. He is survived by his wife Betty; his sons and daughters: Larry of Redwood City, CA, Kirk of Burnet, TX, Jennifer of Owasso, OK and Suzanne of San Jose, CA; and his grandchildren Stephen, Miles, Nicole, Shelby, Hunter, Lindsey, Nicholas, Zachary, Madelyn, and Casey; great grandchildren, Kiera, Bailey, and Mackenzie.
Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on June 2nd at St. Victor's Catholic Church in San Jose, CA. Donations can be made to American Heart Association.

Uncle Don was a prince of a man with a Robert Wagner grin that let you know how much he loved life and everyone around him.
I was fortunate to be one of those.

WELL, IT LOOKS LIKE WE HAVE LOST ANOTHER CLASSMATE WE LOVE. GORDON AND I LOOKED FORWARD TO EACH CLASS REUNION. IT WILL BE TIME FOR ANOTHER REUNION SOON. I WILL MISS YOU GORDON
I HAVE WORKED ON EACH CLASS REUNION SINCE THE SECOND ONE IN 1971...WOW! WHERE DID THE TIME GO? RIGHT, GORDON? I PUT THE SCRAPBOOK TOGETHER FOR EACH REUNION AND ENJOY DOING IT.
