Efren, Just want so say that your little girl is still in good hands. You would be so proud of what she's accomplishing in life. She has graduated from college and has landed a great job with the city. I love her very much, we are now husband & wife and looking forward to a future together. Well brother, it's been 11 years since you left us. Not a day goes by that you are not thought of. Wish you were here to see all that is going on with the kids. You'd be so proud of Melissa. She has had so much going on with her these past few months. She married a wonderful man that we just love and adore, she graduated from SJSU and started a new job with the City of San Jose! We all miss you and talk about you often. A big piece of the puzzle is missing since you left. You know, people say time heals but sometimes I feel like it gets harder and harder without you here. But then, I think of all the good times we had and all the laughs growing up. Steven just gave me an album, yes an album from Lynard Skynard for Christmas. Made me and Julie cry but they were good tears. It's funny how our kids hear music and think of you and talk about you. We all miss our gentle giant. Until we meet again, rest well brother. You left us 11 years ago today and not a day goes by that you are not thought of. You'd be so proud of all of Melissa's accomplishments. She has had lots of things to celebrate...getting married to a wonderful man that we just love so much, graduating from SJSU and starting a new job with the City of San Jose! Hi Efren. Its good to stop by for a visit now and again. Kind of like when we worked at Intel and I'd stop by and hang out through lunchtime. Time has a way of fading memories. I'm happy to stop by and remember the good times we had and funny moments. Thanks for being a friend.

Happy 4th of July brother! Your birthday just passed and I played your favorite music all day long. I think about you everyday and miss you lots. Wish you were here to see all the babies and the kids. All are doing well. Melissa surprises me everyday in all that she does. She is such a beautiful person inside and out...like her Daddy! You would love Pablo. We all do. He is such a special person who has come into her life. I just love him. They are so cute together. You can see the love they have for each other. I'm at work right now, working hard and listening to my country music. I know, I know....but hey, we all have our favorites (LOL). All the cousins still share memories of you and we laugh...such a goofball! But that's what made you so special. I have to make my brownies for Pablo. Melissa and Ricky told him how good they are. Hi Efren, my name is Pablo. Melissa has told me great things about you. Things that she tells me with a smile in her face. Like the times you guys would walk to the mall during the holidays and how you two secretly ate out together. It sounds like you were a great dad. You were there for her to make her smile and be a real father that dedicated time for his little girl. Your mom, your sisters, n Melissa's mom have nothing but good things to say about you and everytime I see them they always welcome me with open arms. I just want to let you know that your daughter is very special to me and my family. I'm very proud of the woman she's becoming and the things she will accomplish in life. You would be very proud of her as well. I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and Melissa and I met to become something special. I was in disbelief when I found out that my friend Efren had passed. I worked with him at Seagate and then Intel. I lived in Santa Clara one summer and being my only friend then, we would often just hang out at his apartment. We mainly talked computers but he also told me stories about his family. He was especially proud of Melissa and would always update me on her progress. He was kind enough to include me at his family functions from his wedding to Janie to Christmas at Julie's or a birthday at his mother's. A big man with a big heart... I will miss you. My condolences.

What can we say, our hearts are hurting for the loss you and our families are feeling for our cousin. I know when he got older he wanted to be called Efren but he was always Snooky to us. There are no words that can ease any of the pain you are enduring. Snooky will definitely leave an empty space in everyones heart. We know he is in gods care with Bobby and Jr. We will never understand why they were taken from us at such a young age. You can only cherish the moments that you did have him while on this earth. My memories are of Efren when I was a young girl. He was always so nice, pleasant, funny and a joy to be around. I am so heartbroken that I will never see him again and his bright red cheeks I am praying for the family especially Melissa.
