Elizabeth Faye Leopold "Betty"

Elizabeth passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 7, 2007. She was born in San Francisco, CA where she met and married the love of her life, William Leopold, at a U.S.O. dance. They were married for 36 years.Elizabeth spent most of her life in San Jose, CA where she worked and shared many wonderful times with her friends and family. She loved Big Band and Swing music. In their younger days, Elizabeth and Bill won awards for dancing the jitter bug.Elizabeth is survived by her beloved son Jeff Leopold (Tracy) of Santa Maria, CA, daughter Cheri Flores (Rick) of San Jose, CA, and her sister Lynn Kindred (Bill) of Ventura, CA, her cherished grandchildren, Jerrod, William, Michael, Dorothy, Richard, Ashley, and her nephew, Steven Kindred (Jeannie) of Savannah, GA. She is preceded in death by her husband William, daughter Cindy and son Scott.Elizabeth was an extremely loving, kind, gentle and generous soul to all who met her. Her greatest joy was her family who will miss her deeply, but will always remember her unconditional love for all of us.It is comforting to know that she is dancing with the angels.Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 18th, 2:00 p.m., at Oak Hill Funeral Home's Chapel of Roses, 300 Curtner Avenue, San Jose.
