my dear uncle gene, you will be missed deeply by your niece and great nephew. You were like a father when I lost mine in '71 and I will never forget when you would come and get Lisa and I after getting off from the post office.
I love you and Auntie Rose so much and my prayers are with your family.

Gene was a blessing to all who knew him. A wonderful father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be missed deeply. The fact that he lived so long and so healthily after his stroke nearly 13 years ago can only be attributed to the loving care of his devoted wife, and my (ex)mother-in-law, Rose. Their love for each other showed no bounds. Despite his ill health I believe that not one of us left behind is as fortunate as Gene was in regards to having such a devoted and loving spouse and family.
I shall miss you terribly and I shall miss your great grandchild never getting the opportunity to know you well. She will miss out on the best great grandpa in the world.
My thoughts and prayers to the Corey and Corral families.

I've known the Corey family for over 35 years, they are my second family. Gene was such a fun and loving man who always made you laugh. He will be truly missed and always loved. Rose, you are an incredible women and wife. Your love for Gene and the care you took to make sure everyday was a good day for him is just amazing. I know he was deeply loved by his family and hopefully now he is sharing some great stories with Mark and other family members who are all watching over you.
Love to all of you,
Kathy
