Fannie Burnett Neuroth

This beautiful Southern Belle and WWII WAC uniform model and Veteran died Feb. 7, 2007, age 85 while wintering in Florida. Fan was full of loving energy and a joy to all. In 1944 "Fan" married Fred A. Neuroth, grandson of William Neuroth Sr., a Santa Clara Valley pioneer who started U.S. Products Cannery in San Jose, in the early 1900's. Fan and Fred lived in San Jose for over 50 years where they raised their six children.Fan was active in the Girls Scouts with her daughter, Joan. In 1970 she became a private care nurse. Fred, who worked for Wells Fargo Bank, and Fan, first retired to Laytonville, CA, and then to the Chesapeake Bay area of Virginia, Fan's birthplace. Predeceased by husband Fred, and sons Bill and John. Survived by daughter Joan, (Evert) Nygren, of Incline Villlage, NV and sons Gary, (Laurie), Steven and Jim, (Bella) Neuroth ,daughter-in-law, Mara Neuroth, and 8 grandchildren: Torsten and Kirstin Nygren, Emily, Austin, Hans, Erin, Tyson and Michelle Neuroth, and 3 great-grandchildren. Fannie had many life long friends and extended families on both the East and West Coast and will be fondly remembered. (Local Memorial TBA), Graveside and Burial, Monday, June 25, 11:30 am Oakwood Cemetery, Richmond, VA.
