Frank Owczarzak Obituary

Frank E. Owczarzak, Jr. passed peacefully on January 9, 2023. He spent his last days talking to those he loved and who loved him. A beloved Dad, Papa, and Great Papa, he will be missed by family and friends.Frank was a life-long learner who enjoyed history, fishing, his cabin and his family. He taught for three decades at Oak Grove High School and enjoyed many friendships with former students and teachers. For Frank, there was no better day than sitting on his deck in Tahoe reading a good book. He was married to Jane for 35 years when she passed in 2007 and he missed her every day. They both received their teaching credentials from San Jose State University and a scholarship in their honor has been established to support future teachers. In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to Tower Foundation SJSU for the Jane Boyd and Frank E. Sending lots of love! He was a wonderful and kind man. We would go to Giorgio´s together sometimes and chat about life. I was in Mrs. O´s class and watched their house and cats throughout the years. Sending so much love.

My sincere condolences to Mr. Owczarzak's loved ones. I was in his class back in the '80s and he made a strong impression on me. He actually made history intersting! I'm sorry to hear of his death, but you can take comfort in knowing that he touched so very many people's lives in a positive way. He will be remembered fondly.
