Henry Thomas DeGuc (Hank)

Hank passed away unexpectedly on March 20, 2013. He was born in Chili, NY to William and Helen DeGuc February 21, 1921.
Hank and his wife Helen were married 60 plus years until her passing in 2006. Hank is survived by his children: Terry Davis (Barbara Cushman), Kailua-Kona HI; Henry DeGuc, JR. (Tracy Harris), Grants Pass OR; Jacquelyn (James) Lepetich, Cupertino CA; Robert DeGuc (Susan), San Jose CA; Janice DeGuc (John Charney), Campbell CA. He is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends in the Buffalo NY area. He is also missed by his faithful Springer Spaniel, Misty II.
Hank was a veteran of World War Two and the Korean War. He was a navigator on B-24's and B-26's. He was honorably discharged in 1954 as a First Lieutenant.
Since Hank's retirement from United Airlines in 1990, he volunteered at the Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad and Carousel at Oak Meadow/Vasona Park in Los Gatos.
Per Hank's request, there will be no public service. In lieu of flowers, Hank's family requests contributions be made in his memory to Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad, PO Box 234 , Los Gatos, CA 95031-0234; Salvation Army, Toys for Tots, or a charity of your choice.
