Ida S. Moore passed away on Sunday, December 26th. Ida touched the lives of many with her warm and loving personality, witty sense of humor and the genuine interest with which she showed every person she met.
Ida was born in Plainfield, New Jersey, moved to Staten Island, NY and worked in Manhattan before marrying her beloved husband, Albert E. Moore in 1948. With Albert and her daughter Cecily, Ida lived the Army life and traveled to locales such as Asmara, Eritrea in Africa. She and Albert later settled in Los Gatos where she dedicated her life to caring for others, cultivating friendships and spending time with her loving family. Ida enjoyed traveling, cooking gourmet food, entertaining their many friends, keeping herself and her home looking beautiful and above all, spending quality time with her daughter, granddaughters and great grandsons. Ida always had a kind word, a hug or a delicious treat to share with everyone she knew.
Ida is survived by her devoted daughter, Cecily, loving granddaughters, Sara Rainbolt (Eric) and Rebecca Chun (Ryan Brunette), and two great grandsons, Rex Rainbolt and Marcel Brunette, as well as her extended family in New Jersey. Her generous, loving spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of Ida's beautiful life will be held in April 2022, open to all who knew and loved her.
