Isabel Silva Obituary

Isabel Silva Born in Chatsworth, Calif. and a long time resident of San Jose passed away on July 23, 2004. She was born on June 10, 1919. Beloved mother of Barbara Jean Flores of San Jose and Patricia Ann Botelho of El Paso, TX. Isabel will be missed by all who loved her and were touched by her angelic smile and witty sense of humor. Known for her great cooking, nothing made her happier than to cook for her family and to observe clean plates after a hearty meal. Isabel was a loving grandmother to Michael and Mark Botelho, Chyrisse King, George, Tim and Steven Flores. She was a caring great grandmother to Jordan, Eric and Ashley Flores, Jennifer, Kaitlyn and Michael Botelho, Chyron and Ryan King, Albert and Joshua Flores. Isabel was preceded in death by her brothers Louie and William Fierro. She truly touched more lives than she could ever have known. Our lives will be forever touched by her presence. We are better for having been a part of her life. We will spend the rest of our time on this earth aspiring to live up to her example and generosity, love and compassion. Friends are invited to attend a Vigil Service Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at the LIMA FAMILY SANTA CLARA MORTUARY, 466 N. Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara. Funeral Service Wednesday, at 9:15 a.m. at the above Mortuary, thence to St. Francis Cabrini Church for a Funeral Mass commencing at 10:00 a.m. Interment Santa Clara Mission Cemetery. The family prefers donations to the American Cancer Society.

I was deeply saddened to hear that Isabel had died. She was wonderful to me while growing up. Very kind and easy to talk to. I have missed her thru the years and my prayers go to her family.
