James Schembri

James J. Schembri Resident of Gardnerville, NV Passed away peacefully on July 13, 2013 in Gardnerville, NV at the age of 59 years old. He was a long time Pacifica resident. He is survived by his wife, Kim they were married 36 years and his daughter Alison Schembri. He is also survived by his parents James and Helen Schembri and his sisters Theresa Menjivar and Mary Griggi (Michael) all of Pacifica, and many nieces and nephews, good friend Danny Daciuk and his life long friend Tony Borg. Jimmy attended Pacifica Schools: Sanchez, Ortega, Fairmont and graduated Terra Nova High School in 1972. He was a carpenter (local 217 San Mateo) by trade and a general contractor. Along with his father James, Jimmy was a long time Pacifica and San Francisco beach fisherman and an avid game bird hunter. He also enjoyed many years with his Uncle Ray Callejo drag racing, hot rod shows and the car culture for all of his life. Family and friends may visit on Monday July 22, 2013, from 3pm to 9pm and are invited to attend a Vigil/Rosary Service 7pm, at Duggan's Serra Mortuary at 500 Westlake Ave, Daly City. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday July 23, 2013 at St. Peter's Church 700 Oddstad Blvd, Pacifica at 11:00 a.m. with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma. A second memorial service will be held on Saturday July 27, 2013 10:00 a.m., at St. Gall Church 1343 Centerville Lane, Gardnerville, NV. The Bud Duggan Family 650-756-4500
