Resident of Los Gatos
John Cabri, 83, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Italy, grew up in Sutter Creek, CA, proudly served in the US Army, and attended college and pursued his career in San Jose as an engineer at IBM for 34 years. John is survived by his wife of 57 years, Hugheen Jane, his sons John (Tammy), Greg (Susie), Frank (Carol), and daughter Nancy Schroeder (Rick). He was a devoted Papa to John, Annie, Robby, Grace, Anthony, Andrew, Cate, Ava, Julia, Olivia and Michael, and loving uncle, brother-in-law and friend to many. He was predeceased by his brother, Bruno Cabri. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2015 from 6-9PM with Rosary at 7PM at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 10AM at St. Frances Cabrini Parish, 15333 Woodard Rd., San Jose. Entombment to follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, 490 Lincoln St., Santa Clara.

I will miss John greatly. I met him in the late 60's at IBM San Jose. He was a man of great integrity, a good Engineer, a practical man and down to earth. I recall him saying to me how good a glass of red wine at dinner was. Thanks for the advice John. Blessings to his family. RIP John, Bill Jump
