John Howard Gardner, loving husband, father, brother, grandfather passed away peacefully in San Jose, CA on January 31, 2018 surrounded by family.
Howard was born in Walsenburg, CO, July 14, 1934. Howard met his bride Patricia while they were in Los Angeles attending Biola Bible College. Howard and Pat moved to San Jose in 1956 to be near his father and step mother where he began a 62 year career in the commercial painting industry. He retired at the young age of 78.
Howard is survived by his loving wife Patricia of 62 years, 2 children; David Gardner (Lorie), Susan Gardner (Tim) and brother LeRoy Gardner (Shirley), 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Howard is preceded in death by his father Thomas Gardner Jr., mother Annette Gardner, step mother Ruth Gardner and son Dean Gardner (Corina).
We will celebrate Howard's life February 17th, 2018 at 10:30am Venture Christian Church ,1645 Hicks Road, Los Gatos, CA 95032.
