John Stoddard Obituary

STODDARD, John L. -- Passed away at 89 on November 19. Born in San Francisco on May 27, 1914, he ggraduated from San Ramon High School in 1932 and Cal-Berkeley in 1937. He retired in Belmont and served as President of: the Cipriani Homeowners Assoc, SHHHH, Belmont Friends of the Library, and AARP. He did volunteer work for various organizations and served on committees and commissions for San Mateo county and the city of Belmont. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Stoddard; two sons, John Stoddard of Belmont and Charles Stoddard of Sonora, CA; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 11th, at 2 p.m. at the Congregational Church of Belmont, 751 Alameda de las Pulgas, Belmont. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to either the Crohn's and Colitis or the Arthritis Foundations. BYRGAN & COMPANY, BURLINGAME.
