Kenneth Friesen Obituary

Kenneth H. Friesen Dec. 1924 - Feb. 5, 2010 Born the 10th of 14 children to Thomas and Kathryn Friesen of Henderson, Nebraska. Ken's family worked to help the farming community and Ebenezer Mennonite Brethren Church. During WW2 he served in Civilian Public Service. Ken met Esther Goertzen at a family wedding in 1945 and married in 1947. Ken attended Pacific Bible Institute and began building homes in the 50s. In 1962 they moved to San Jose, joined the Lincoln Glen MB Church and he became a General Contractor. During his 40+ years in San Jose, Ken built offices, apartments, spec homes, and much of the Lincoln Glen Church and Manor. He loved God, family, church, and helping others. He is preceded in death by his wife and 11 siblings. He leaves behind daughter Kathy & Joseph Pauls, Caleb, Beth of Fresno, son Kevin Friesen, grandson Daniel. Services will be held on Sunday, February 28, 5 p.m. Lincoln Glen Church, 2700 Booksin Ave, San Jose. In Ken's honor donations may be made to Lincoln Glen Manor, 2671 Plummer Ave, San Jose, CA 95125.
