Kirtee, you arrived in the Frankfurt office of DPW with a smile, a quick wit, and hand extended warmly to everyone you met. As a lifelong expat, I've met a lot (and I mean a LOT) of people over the years, but so few have made such a mark on my life as you did. You encouraged me to be confident, to inquire and question, and not to take things so seriously - especially myself. To Sushma - I remember you as beautiful as your name, in visage and in spirit, and I am sorry that you lost your soulmate too soon. May you, the daughter you and Kirtee shared, and the rest of your family take comfort in your memories during this difficult time. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you Kirtee- thank you for having setting the goal post for many young lawyers like me for numerous years... it was a privelege working on mandates with you. To your family- I am sorry for your loss. I have only known him professionally- like many young Indian lawyers of my generation- but if you ever would like to visit his legacy- do remember that each one of us in our small ways hold on to it.

Kirtee, you were a great friend since our high school days at Saint Xavier School, Jaipur. Still remember the first and last time we met in New York City (in 2009). May you find peace in heaven.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
