Resident of San Jose
Larry passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is survived by his loving wife Maureen, and his twin, Nancy Boss and Brother Tom. He was preceded in death by his parents Burton and Loretta Ickes and siblings Douglas, Phyllis, Patricia, Mary Ann, Joan, Susan, Jimmy and Barbara Rossi. He was a loving father to daughters Dawn (Tom) Lindberg, Denise (Jeff) Arnold, and Leona (Craig) Fiddler. A wonderful grandfather to Tony McCord, Andrew and Joshua Fisher, Chad and Mallori Lindberg, Mathew, Carlos, Antonio and Audrey Fiddler. As well as great grandfather to Noah, Abigail, Julian, Conner and Emelia Fisher and Alex McCord. Larry worked in Redwood City at Round Table Pizza for several years and then moved to Gillis and Lane, Redwood City for 35 years. After retiring he drove seniors for the Wesley Manor in Santa Clara. Larry loved sports, including bowling, darts, softball and his favorite GOLF! Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 2, from 4:00pm to 9:00pm, with the Vigil at 7:30pm, all at Darling Fischer Garden Chapel Chapel, 471 E. Santa Clara St. S.J. 95112. Mass will held Thursday, July 3, 11:00am, at St. Maria Goretti Church, 2980 Senter Rd, S.J, 95111. Donations can be made in Larry's name to the American Cancer Society.
