Resident of Saratoga
Leland was born in Ottawa, Kansas, to Myrl and Katherine (Martin) Long on February 4, 1939 and died August 29, 2021. He graduated from Northwest Missouri State, After working for several tech companies, he started his own business Long Engineering Design.
Leland is survived by his wife, Frederica (Dodge) Long, daughters Anita Long (Derald Herinckx) of Overland Park, Kanas, and Brenda Long (James Goran) of Placentia, California, as well as four grandchildren, Lauren Herinckx, Brett Herinckx, Stuart Goran, and William Goran and two nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents and older brother Elvin Long.
A memorial service will be held in the spring.
