Born 2/14/22-Died 9/12/10
Leon was predeceased by his loving wife Marguerite Attabit and his dear son Jacques Attabit. Father to Leon Albert Attabit, Jr. (Cathy Attabit) and Bonnie Addario (Tony Addario). Grandfather to Danielle Hicks (Steve Hicks), Jared Beltramo, (Debi Beltramo) and Andrea Parks (Dave Parks) Shannon Stafford (Eric Stafford) and Christopher Attabit. Loving Great Grandfather to Ryan Hicks, Alexis Parks, Colton Hicks, Emily Hicks, Jack Hicks, Bella Parks, Charlotte Parks, Gianna Beltramo and Jon Thomas Stafford.
Leon was proud to be a 38 year retiree from Pacific Telephone. He loved that company with all of his heart and always spoke about how well Pac Bell took care of their employees and their families. He purchased stock on the employee program for years and never sold one. He said he would feel disloyal to do so. He felt it was his turn to take care of the company that took such good care of him.....
He was loyal, responsible, had an incredible work ethic, honest to a fault, always there to lend a hand, or himself and had friends everywhere he went. I don't think he was ever late for anything nor did he miss a day of work.
He was a man of integrity and he lead the way for his family to follow his path to wonderful lives themselves.
He will be dearly missed but he is with Marguerite and Jacques now and I can just feel him smiling....
God gave us Memory so we could have Roses in December.....
We love you Ahpa!!!!
10:00 a.m. Mass on Wed. Sept. 22 at St. Charles Church in San Carlos, Ca. Private Burial to follow at Holy Cross in Colma.
