Martin B. Janich

JANICH, Martin B. -- Passed away peacefully at home on September 23, 2003 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Janich. Loving father of Sherry and husband Jerry Williams, and the late David Janich. Adored grandfather of Derek Janich, Karen, Stacey, Kevin and his wife Kerry Williams, Mark and Craig Bates and great-grandfather of Nolan Gary Williams. A lifelong resident of San Jose, Martin was born on January 29, 1910. He was a businessman and ran his own company until he retired in 1977. He loved to play golf and was a member of the San Jose Country Club where he played well into his 80's, hitting his last hole-in-one at 75. He was a life member of the San Jose Elks Club #522. Those who knew Martin know that he was a true friend and a gentleman. He will be greatly missed. A private family memorial service will be held.
