Maech 4,1924-July 17,2011
Long time resident of Sunnyvale
Matt passed away on Sunday, July 17th at the age of 87.Matt was born on March 6,1924 and except for his time in the Navy, lived in the Santa Clara Valley. He met and married his soul mate, Mary in 1946. They were happily married for 64 years when Mary passed away in 2010. They lived their entire married life in Sunnyvale where they raised two sons, Michael and Patrick.
Matt is survived by both his sons, his grandaughters Alice Catherine Schmalenberger, Danaka Katovich and Megan Beth Koppitch, his grandsons Mathew Patrick ,Sean Michael, and Brett Katovich and his great grandchildren Laura Jo. and Lan Koppitch.
Donations may be made to the National Downs Syndrome Society, 666 Broadway 8th floor, New York, New York.
