Dr. Melvin Grais passed away in Palo Alto, California. Long time resident of Los Gatos. Husband of 57 years to the late Dian Grais. Survived by David Grais, Nancy Grais, Linda Grais and her husband John Freund, grandchildren Edward and Sophia Grais; Alexander and Nicholas Freund. Graveside service 11am Friday, February 17 at the Los Gatos Memorial Park, 2255 Los Gatos Almaden Road, San Jose.

To the family of Dr. Grais,
Many years ago when I was in my twenties (I am now in my
early sixties!), your Dad was my dermatologist. If I'm
remembering correctly, his office was then on Forest Drive.
Not only was he a very competent and capable doctor,
he was also one of the very nicest human beings I have ever
met. When I read his obituary in the Mercury News,
it brought tears to my eyes. I just wanted you to know that
though it has been more than thirty years since I last
saw your Dad, he remains in my heart......always.
