In loving Memory of Michael Leslie Perry
Born: April 25,1950
Entered into Rest: July 28th,2009
My deepest condolences to Michael's Mother Carmen and Family.
Mike and I met in 1981 where we both worked for IBM as Diamond Turn Disk Lathes Operators in Bld 1/100.
We are both Aries which means FUN CRAZY!!!! WATCH OUT...DOUBLE TROUBLE!
Michael was always a fun loving, compassionate, sensitive and supportive man when any of us needed a friend. As time went on our friendship continue to grow on a personal level. He will always hold a special place in my heart for the comfort he brought me during my mothers passing.
Mike had a uplifted spirit and a wonderful character within himself. NEVER A DULL MOMENT WITH MICHAEL!
In the early 80's Michael owned a beautiful low rider Harley that he loved to ride. This was his pride and joy.
A few guys that worked in the same area also had bikes.
The GOOD,BAD AND THE UGLY ha ha ha.
In the summer months you could hear the bikes rumbling in around 2:45pm as they pulled up to the building.
Summertime was the best. Many of us would head up to the Calero Inn for lunch. We wouldhave home made hamburgers and ICE COLD BEER! He always seem to talk me into getting on the back of his bike for the ride up the hill. He loved listening to the Eagles and Journey.
We played on a co-ed softball team with our department which was alot of fun. Working on second shift was a good time. Many of us would head to the local bar on Friday nights at the end of our shift sharing lots of laughs. Michael could always make us laugh no matter how bad our day was.
For those of you who have been with IBM/Hitachi for many years can relate to the Good Ol Days!
Michael has experienced many storms for the past decade. Last year he was blessed with his beautiful home he purchased in Los Banos, Ca.
When he shared the good news with me about his home I commented "Good things come to those who wait" Just to see the glow on his face was such a joy. I was so happy for him.
No matter how heavy Mikes load was that he was carrying, God's grace always seemed to be sufficient for him.
It is comforting to know he will never suffer again, be ill,age or be lonely.
He has made it to Eternal Paradise where he will live in everlasting Glory Forever with Our Heavenly Father!
Until we meet again my brother in the resurrection you will forever hold a special place in my heart........I love you!
He will be deeply missed....
~ Ecclesiastes 3: 1-4
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; ‘
A time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
A time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance.

We are deeply saddened to learn of Mike's passing. Mike was a wonderful Friend to many and his very energetic and outgoing spirit will be missed so much. Mike had a great sense of humor and when we think of Mike, so many wonderful memories of his charm, his quick wit, and his funny jokes come to mind. There were also a few memorable pranks in there as well. Mike was very dedicated to his work during his many years of service with IBM and Hitachi. It was our pleasure to work so many of those great years with someone who had so much pride in his work. Most of all, we are grateful to have shared some really fun times with a Man that could make everyone laugh and smile. If you close your eyes and listen really carefully, you can almost hear that infectious laugh that Mike was so known for.
Our deepest condolences go out to Michael's Family. You all were such a wonderful part of his life and Mike talked of you all often. Find peace in cherishing all of the beautiful memories you have of Michael.
Mike, may you be at Peace and know how much we love you.
