To you all who knew Mitch in Viet Nam, may I say that he always held you in the highest regard w/ the rare stories he would relate to those of us civilians here in California. (Rare is the operational adjective here.)
The Calmest of the Calm; that's how I always thought of Mitch.
Great guy and a such a great loss. Much sorrow from all of us at Micrel who knew him personally.
All the best to his family, and sincere condolences from those who miss him deeply.

From another member of the 195th. In far away places and long ago we were Soldiers, and Young. With the passing of time so also do we pass. What is important is who we were, how we lived, and what we leave behind.
Mitch met all the markers at the highest level. Rest well Brother!

My sincere condolences to Mitch’s family and friends. I had the privilege of serving with Mitch during the Vietnam War. We were both air crewmembers with the 195th Assault Helicopter Company. He flew slicks and I gunships, we flew many missions together in support of MACV-SOG in Vietnam and Cambodia. Known for his calm demeanor, he had the intestinal fortitude and courage to get the job done. You could always count on Mitch, as someone else here has said, “He was one of the good guys!” I last saw Mitch at the Special Operations Association Reunion a couple years ago; it was great to see him again. He will be missed by his comrades from long ago, but on those special occasions when we hoist a toast to our fallen brethren, his memory will live on.

Sincerest condolences to Mitch's Family. I was not privileged to know Mitch personally as he was with the 195th AHC after my tour. Having said that, he was and is my Brother in his obviously far-extended Family. May God bless and keep him, his Family and all of us who honor his life and service.

My sincere sympathies and condolences to the family of Mitch. Mitch and I served together in the 195th AHC, during the Vietnam War. We were on many flight missions together, slept, ate and lived together for a short one-year period. But that year brought us close together. In later years we went our separate ways, had and raised our own families, and did not see each other again until two years ago. Thanks Mitch for all the times we did have.

Mitch was a gentleman. He will be missed and remembered always. Most probably never knew what Mitch did in the Army in Vietnam. We do. And we thank him for his service.

My condolences to Mitch's family and friends. Mitch was a member of the 195th AHC in Viet Nam and supported my unit. Without Mitch and the others of the 195th my job would have been impossible. I will miss seeing Mitch at the Special Operations Association reunions but, in my heart I know he is in a better place.

Along with all the rest of us at SVTC and Cypress- we've known Mitch for a long time. I would like to express my deepest sorrow for his passing and my deepest sympathy to those who will miss him most.
Mitch was a wonderful man who obviously loved his life and those around him. We often talked about fly fishing in the Sierra and we shared alot of stories about fishing up on the Carson River and other places we both liked to go. Mitch was very tenacious about his work and was always there to help us solve the problems we encountered at work.
I will miss him very much.

I've came to know Mitch as our ASML field service @ Cypress/SVTC. He is such a friendly guy always saying good morning when he comes in. My prayers goes out for your and your family. May God's comfort and peace that surpasses all understanding come upon you at this time. May you have the assurance that Mitch is now in the presence of his Redeemer and Lord. Mitch was a one of the nicest people I ever had the priveldge to know & work with. He was a true class act & gentleman. I truely believe he lives on in the hearts of his children, and because of that, he will never really be gone. May you find some peace & comfort in that knowledge, until you see him again.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to all of Mitch's family. I met Mitch while helping at the ASML office in San Jose. He was definately "one of the good guys". Smiling seemed to come so easy to him and I really enjoyed his stories of fishing and early ASML days. May you find comfort in the times ahead knowing he had a positive influence on many in our ASML family.

My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead. I new Mitch for > 15years . He worked at Cypress Semiconductor and SVTC as our ASML field service engineer. He talked about his pending retirement and his love of fishing and running. He always had a smile on his face and was a true gentleman. His presence will be missed, but his spirit
