Words cannot express how much I miss you Dad. I haven't been the best at dealing with it, but then again, who has? I am thankful that you are free of pain, and also thankful that you don't have to see what a mess this world is coming to. It appears your influence reached farther than previously thought. I am just thankful that you taught me to stand up for what truly matters and not to run and be a coward. I love you so much, and cannot wait until the day we are united once again.

A year has passed since we were together. The family is healing and gathered together in your honor. We have had sunshine to warm our days and memories and to comfort us. WE miss you and keep you close in our hearts.

Happy Father's Day dad. I am sad you are not here to spend the day with you. Nobody to give a card and gift to....share some chili dogs with. I really want to believe you are in a better place now but it just sucks so bad not having you here. I don't know if that is just me being selfish but it is how I feel. I love you so much and though I told you before...I want to thank you again for all you have done and provided for not only me but mom, Melissa, Jason and Joey as well. You are still and will remain very much loved and missed and always in my heart.

I miss you Dad, so much every day. You have always been the perfect role model, and the example of what it means to be a man. I can never thank you enough for all you have taught and given. You are my biggest hero. I am so proud of you, and I have you to thank for all of my accomplishments. I LOVE YOU!!!

"Loving despite any circumstances" is quite a legacy. We are blessed to have had Paul in our family, and for that legacy. May we be inspired by it and strive to model it in our lives, as a living tribute.
