Paul had a long, distinguished career. He was employed by RCA for many years in several positions. Paul developed into their key troubleshooter and a turnaround expert. He was deployed to different RCA plant locations throughout the country in this key role. Paul advanced his career moving to Fairchild Corp. As Vice President, Manufacturing and Operations, he produced the Pulse Oximeter, a product that has helped save many lives. Both of these ventures serve as the pinnacle to a truly remarkable career.

Paul and wife, Patricia, travelled extensively throughout the world during his career, and continued to enjoy their love of travel in their retirement. Among his favorite places was Ireland, where he was named Business Man of the Year by the IDA in 1983. On visits, he took time to connect with his Irish heritage
