Dear Bonni, Corey, Dustin and to all of Paul's extended family, We are so sorry that Paul is no longer with us. He was such a kind and loving man who did not deserve to suffer over these past years as he did with his battle with various health issues. We all have fond memories of him and know that he is now at peace. He was a great grill meister, wonderful artist, had great taste in cars/trucks, fun-loving and caring family man. Our hearts go out to our beautiful cousin Bonni and family...stay strong. Love, Julie and Herbert Dengler and the Scheetz family

Paul was my first helper and apprentice at Sign Classics in 1975, in San Jose. We became very close friends and worked together for over 10 years.
At that time he moved to Morgan Hill and started his own sign company. I last visited him 10 years ago.
Since I sold my company I have moved to Corpus Christi TX.
When we talked in 2010 he had just gotten Prostrate Cancer and was telling me about his treatments. This discussion came about because I was about to have surgery for the same cancer.
However I did really admire his sign shop and saw beautiful works in progress there. He was a great designer who became a very talented wood worker.
Paul was very interested in learning from me in 1975 and we both did have the same teachers.
My friend Ron Escobar, a sign artist in Morgan Hill did notify me about Paul's passing.
My condolences to his beautiful wife Bonnie and their family.
He passed way to early because he had passion all around in his life. He was a warm and fun friend that I will always remember. RIP to a member of "The Brothers of the Brush".
