I thought about Paul the other day. I was driving down Coit Dr, and passed his house. I thought about childhood and growing up in that neighborhood. It takes a village, and Paul's family was part of my village. Collecting stamps, learning origami, cub scouts, etc. Paul I remember you always walking on your tip toes, always an energetic step. Miss you Paul.

I am Paul and Karen's neighbor and it saddens me to see a life taken away from us too soon. The little I knew of Paul over the years, he was a very simple person and always had that extra minute to greet me or my kids. I saw both Karen and Paul few weeks ago in their front yard tending to the garden and being together. It was a beautiful sight and I thought Paul would finally catch a break which he so truly deserved. Unfortunately he didn't get that break. He waged a fierce battle, but lost at the end. May his simple soul rest in eternal peace. My heart goes out to Karen. I hope and pray for her to find all the courage to absorb the loss and in due course come out of it stronger.

Our best and prayers to the family. I grew up with Paul from probably before kindergarten. Many fond memories; block parties, 4th of July, cub scouts, etc. Chance meeting at Santa Clara University graduation, for his MS engineering degree. Great childhood memories.
Our prayers and condolences to the family.
