I met Paul in the early 90's, while we were working in the same division at HP. Paul was the purchasing/supply manager and I was an engineer. In his office wall was a drawing of Godzilla with the caption "Tuttle". I was quite intrigued by it, and decided to be extra nice to this person with whom I had to work. After a few weeks, Paul and I started to get along really well. It was a pleasure to get to know him, and most of my coworkers were impressed by my achievement. Before I left that HP group, Paul gave me his business card (from the winery) and asked me to keep in touch. I have been thinking about him recently, and now I have read the sad news. May his family be comforted and may his memory be for a blessing to everyone.

I worked with Paul for a number of years at HP/Agilent's AMSO/ISD (aka I Smell Dollars)/ASD. He was a real son-of-a-gun and a great guy at the same time. He was my friend. I will miss his staight talk and humor. First Thursdays at the Roasted Coffee Bean will never be the same without him.
