Dear Fred, David, and Nick,
Thank you for publishing the obituary of your mother. You guys did a wonderful job of communicating her values and impact on people. Her love of history, her concern for kids, and her insights into what is going on around her made her a great teacher and a wonderful colleague.

As a new teacher I was fortunate to have begun my career in the Social Studies Department at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School when Paula Sporck was there. She was an extraordinary woman and a skillful teacher from whom I learned so much. I feel privileged to have known her.
