Resident of San Jose
Passed away peacefully in his home with his daughters by his side Tuesday, June 9, 2015. Beloved father to Emily, Meg, Sara, Jenny and Amy. Adored by his grandchildren, Stephen, J.Pietro, Maya, Luca, Ava, Gianna & Emilia. Peter was a devout Catholic, Rosary Prayer Group leader at Holy Spirit Church, teacher in Campbell Union School District for over 35 years, scratch golfer and lifelong Red Sox Fan. He will be truly missed by his family, friends and the community of neighbors that loved him dearly.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Vigil Service Monday, June 15, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. at LIMA-CAMPAGNA-ALAMEDA MISSION CHAPEL, 600 S. Second Street, San Jose, with Visitation beginning at 6:00 P.M. Funeral Mass Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at Holy Spirit Church, 1200 Redmond Avenue, San Jose. Private Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.

Mr Carlozzi was my 5/6th grade teacher back 1966-1968. He got me to enjoy reading and reading Nancy Drew books. I also became a Red Sox fan when we got to watch the World Series in class.
I met him again in my early 20's when he was teaching special education, he remembered me.
I started sending Christmas cards awhile back. He still remembered me.
My condolences to his family. He was a great teacher!
