Ralph H. Reyes

REYES, Ralph H.-- Formerly of Hanford, passed away at the age of 76, at his home in Sunnyvale, CA. Mr. Reyes born in Hanford, lived in the area until the age of 18, when he enlisted in the United States Army. He moved up in rank becoming a Sergeant in the 187th Parachute Glider Infantry Regiment. In 1946 he was Honorably Discharged.
He later married Madeline Chacon of Dinuba, then moved to Sunnyvale where he was employed by Swift and Co. for 17 years. Upon his retirement he owned and operated La Cabana Restaurant in Mtn. View, CA for 24 years, where Ralph and Madeline were well known for their great Mexican food and wonderful service.
Ralph was predeceased by, his parents Genero and Carmen Reyes, and son Leonard Reyes, a brother Bart Reyes, and a sister Lena Juarez. He is survived by his wife Madeline of 55 years. Two sons, Raymond Reyes of Eureka, Ca., and Steven Reyes of Sunnyvale, Ca. Three daughters, Pat Corrales and husband Paul of Sunnyvale, Ca., Jeanette Ramirez and husband Albert of Hollister Ca., Belinda Rangel and husband Sergio of Sunnyvale, Ca. Also survived by nine grandchildren Nat Reyes, Melina Craig, Nicole and Krystle Corrales, Mario and Valentino Ramirez, Marcos, Michael and Makalya Rangel, eight great-grandchildren Austin, Allison, Madeline and Emily Craig, Talajah, Elijah and Nat Reyes Jr., and Gabriella Corrales (Noodle). Two brothers Mike H. Reyes of Hanford, Paul Reyes of Lemoore Ca., four sisters Mary Martinez, Reina Hubber, Rosie Yetter, and Lilly Ronquillo all of Hanford, and many nieces and nephews.
