Ray Torres Obituary

TORRES, Ray (Ramon) Robert -- Went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, November 18, 2003 in Fresno, CA. Born in Fresno, CA, he moved to San Jose as a youth with his parents Efrin and Juanita Torres and siblings Margie, Frank and Connie, who have all preceded Ray in death. Owner of Associated Tax Service, Ray has been a Tax Prepares and Tax Accountant for the last 40 years. Ray loved to have family gatherings to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas. He loved to see his grandchildren's eyes light up when Santa Claus came into the room. His other passion was camping. He looked forward to his annual camping trips with his children and grandchildren. These Special Occasions will be greatly missed by all his family members. Ray was the proud father of Ray Jr. and wife Adele, Rick C., Melody and husband Dennis, Barbara and husband Ken, Christy, Abby and husband Michael and Alex. His grandchildren Shon, Jess, John, Raymond Joshua III, Natazia, Erick, Ricci, Aris, Nichole, Steven, Crystal, Samantha, Brittany, Brandon, Ryan, Cierra, Kayla, and Billy. Great grandfather of Ariel, John Aaron, Eric, Eli and Jessica. Family and friends are invited to attend viewing on Sunday, November 23rd, at Yost & Webb Funeral Home, 1002 T. St., Fresno, CA from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Funeral on Monday, November 24th at The Peoples Church, 7172 N. Cedar Ave., Fresno,CA at 10:00 a.m.

Our deepest sympathy to Ray's family. He has done our taxes for a few years and he was always very nice to us. We will miss him.

Ray was a kind man to all. He has done our taxes for the past 5 years and always took time to answer our questions. He was so knowledgeable on the tax laws. He will be greatly missed.
