Raymond Suess Obituary

Raymond M. Suess, Sr. Born July 14, 1920, in Brooklyn, New York, passed away suddenly on November 6th, 2004, in Sonora, California. He grew up in Brooklyn, lived most of his life in Saddle Brook, New Jersey & in 1992 moved to California.

He served in the United States Army proudly as a 2nd Lieutenant in World War II. He served as the 1st President of Saddle Brook Little League in the 1950's & coached up to 1972. Commander of the Saddle Brook American Legion Post 415. President of the Saddle Brook H.S. Boosters.

He worked as Regional Sales Manager for Clinton Square Auto Parts.

After over 35 years of marriage he lost his 1st wife & mother of his four boys, Terry Suess, to cancer in June of 1977.

He is survived by his 2nd wife who he married in 1981, Laila Vranum. He is also survived by his loving son's & their wives Ray & Stephanie Suess, Bob Suess, Mike & Pam Suess and Rich & Yolanda Suess, and was the proud grandfather of Raymond M. Suess III, J. Michael, Adam & Mary Suess, Mike Jr. & Matt Suess and Ricky & Cory Suess. Great grandfather of Samantha & Mckinley Suess.

He loved life and people and always said "he did not collect things he collected people" and he will be missed by all who he touched. "Good bye Dad" We Love you!
