Rebekah Hatfield Obituary

HATFIELD, Rebekah Gene-- Passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Monday, April 8, 2002. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on March 27, 1942. Rebekah was a saint as wife, mother, and grandmother, always putting her family and their needs first. She was never too busy to talk, counsel, or comfort. She loved her job as a teacher in San Jose Catholic Diocese and truly cherished her work with each child. Her spirit of love and generosity will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Rebekah is survived by her loving husband, John, and her seven devoted children Brian, Kevin, Brent and his wife Jennifer, Scott, Michelle and her husband Stuart and Christopher. She is the cherished grandmother of Travis, Conner and Austin and the treasured sister of Dr. Galen Wagner.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2002 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, April 10, 2002 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at DARLING-FISCHER FAMILY MORTUARIES, CHAPEL OF THE HILLS, 615 N. Santa Cruz Avenue, Los Gatos, CA 408-354-7740. A funeral service will be held at Chapel of the Hills on Thursday, April 11, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. with entombment at Los Gatos Memorial Park, San Jose.
