I have known Ricky for so many years and throughout the years he was a great friend and also my shoulder to cry on. Rick was always there for me when i would be down and out.. I have so many great memories of Rick ,like everyone has said he loved to have a good time.he was a great person and will be missed..may you rest in peace Ricky ..

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. We always enjoyed having Ricky over for sleepovers when he was just a little guy. The pictures show the same big smile as a young man that was always there as a little boy. We will treasure the wonderful times he shared with us.

Ricky, you will be forever missed. You were such a down to earth, honest individual. That is something that is so hard to come across. We had so many good times, memories that I will never forget. We wanted to grow up so quickly, we wanted to be adults. Now I wish we were kids again, walking to the library everyday just to waste time and talk smack. Then going home and spending hours on the phone (party line!!) talking about who knows what. I really cannot come to terms with your passing. I really cannot believe it still. Its so hard to think about never seeing your smile or hearing your funny little laugh again. Knowing that you are no longer in pain is the only comfort I find, but it doesn't make it better. I wish you were here to see how many people truly and deeply care about you and how far your friends are willing to go for you, as I know you would have for every single one of them. Rest in Peace my friend. Although you are no longer in our lives, you will forever be in our hearts.

Amanda has said it best, "to know Rick, was to love Rick" He was such an amazing and beautiful soul. You would know that just meeting him for the first time. He was always smiling was deeply loved by his family and friends. He was taken way to soon. My heart is broken for the Villalbas. Rick, you truly will be missed and loved forever.

I became a member of Ricky's family 19 years ago. I am extremly proud and honored to have been a part of his short time here on this earth. I have no words to describe the LOVE I have for him. However, I will always cherish our moments that we spent together, Playing football at his grandparents,hitting baseballs at the local elementry school as a young kid, Family functions, Las Vegas, and Poker games. RICKY was more than just my lil cousin he is my Brother when he lived with me for 5 yrs we had a bond that could not be broken by anyone and he let me know that every week. I talk to rick every single day but i knew not to call before 12 cause i knew he was sleeping. I love you Bro i miss and cant believe your not here. im siting in your seat at Mom and Papas wearing your hat thinkn bout you every min. Gone too soon. I remember meeting little Ricky with his big, sweet smile at his grandfather's 70th birthday. Then later when he would come with his cousins to our house for poker games as well as at other family events. Always sweet, friendly and polite, it was good to see him enjoying his passion. Ricky graced us with his beautiful presents for a very short period. He entered this world April 2, 1984 and entered the gates of Heaven April 7th, 2010. He will always be remembered as a warm hearted, compassionate, funny brother, uncle, cousin, grandson, nephew and a best friend you can ever have. Ricky was an inspiring entrepreneur that loved being out on his boat surround by people that loved him. He was always in for a game of poker and couldn’t stand when I sat next to him because I would always ask for some of his chips to keep me in the game and he was such a giving person that he could never tell me NO. Ricky holds a big part of my heart and he will be missed tremendously and never forgotten.
