It is hard to think of Dick being gone; he was such a powerful presence and personality. Always had advice or answers. I know you will miss him, Kim, he was so brave and you were so wonderful taking care of him. I will think about you always.

Dear Kim, Karey & Brant, I want to express my sincere condolences for the loss of your Dad. I know how much he loved you. He was always so kind and caring to me. I could always be assured that when we spoke or saw each other he had a big hug for me or a sweet or funny line! He will be missed by so many. Thanks for the memories Dick. Love you, Leslie Berger

Uncle Dick-Thank you for all the crazy memories. Sometimes I laugh until I cry thinking about them. I never knew what to exspect from you, except the unexspected. That's what I really loved. Life was a journey. You gave Grandma and Grandpa Berger a son to be proud of, Aunt Jo and Dad a brother to go through the "journey" with and you gave me my best friend for life, "Kare Bear". Kim and Danielle, your love for Uncle Dick goes without saying. Every parent/grandparent should be so blessed to have someone to be there to the very end, loving and caring without hesitation. Now let the real journey begin! Your niece, Lisa
