Robert Louis Pasquinelli

Robert, son of Mary and Louis Pasquinelli, was raised in Willow Glen and was passionate about memorializing his mother's contribution to the founding of the neighborhood lawn Christmas tree tradition in the 1950's. A graduate of Willow Glen High School '62, Santa Clara University '66, and Santa Clara University Law School '69, Robert was a practicing attorney in San Jose for over 50 years, many of them alongside his father.In 1971 he married the love of his life, the late Jean Bottini Pasquinelli. They raised two children, Angela and Andrew, and established two long-standing beloved family traditions — watching the Oscars and cutting down Christmas trees at Four Winds Ranch in the Santa Cruz mountains. Robert and Jean lived happily together until Jean's passing in 2001.An avid golfer, Robert was a member of the Saratoga Country Club for 30 years. He also loved visiting Capitola and Las Vegas. Although his health declined in recent years, Robert still enjoyed spending time with his growing family and supporting his favorite sports teams: the San Francisco 49ers, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and the Las Vegas Golden Knights.Robert is survived by his sister Marilou Malvini, his children Angela and Andrew, his daughter-in-law Veronica, and his granddaughters Ava and Winter.Visitation to be held at Chapel of Flowers Funeral Home in San Jose on Thursday October 5 from 5-7 pm.
