Robin Wibeto Obituary
Robin was born in Webster, South Dakota on November 15, 1951 to Harold and Darlene Wibeto. He was the oldest of 4 children. The Wibeto family moved to San Jose, California when Robin was 7 years old. Robin went to Andrew Hill High School where he was a triple threat playing Football, Basketball and Baseball. After highschool, Robin worked for PG&E, where he retired after 37 years of service, but continued to contract through PG&E until his passing.
Robin had a very strong work ethic and was known to take on several jobs to provide for his family. Robin was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. Robin enjoyed gardening, barbequing, and family trips in his RV. He reaffirmed his Christian faith in 2019, and enjoyed worshiping with his HMC family. Robin also loved New Mexico, where he and Debra recently moved.
Robin is survived by his wife of 43 years, Debra Wibeto; children Wendy Valdez (Jose), Shane Wibeto (Matthew Summ), Brianna Wibeto; grandchildren Jessica and Matthew Valdez; siblings Shelley Hinojos and Harry Wibeto; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Darlene Wibeto, sister Sharrie Graupner, and son Christopher Wibeto.
Services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in San Jose on Friday, August 12th at 1:00 p.m, reception will follow.

I thought of Robin yesterday. Only just found out today... si many memories of my best friend as a child on Continental Drive. We were 7 when we met. Bussed to Oak Grove Elementary , then to Christopher School then to Andrew Hill. You were good to me brother when I came home from Nam. I'll never forget you. Love you. Johnny

Deb & Family,
So sorry for your loss. Still having trouble processing that he´s gone. All I have is great memories of the Wibeto gang & many softball tourneys. He loved to go to right field with power. Everyone loved Robin. When I think of Deb & Robin it´s all smiles.
