Just found this after I looked her up. I had her in 8th grade and I believe in 7th grade also at Steinbeck. She was a love. Always so kind to me. One of my favorite teachers for certain. Will always hold good memories of her. May she rest in peace. I´m sure she is missed by so many.

Mrs. Esteves was hilarious. I had a great time and looked forward to every class, and not just because she had kudos bars in the cabinet ;) Thanks for the fun times even if you did send me to OCS with Phelps for saying explaining "Mockabutt!"

I have missed Rosanne since she left Pioneer and I will always remember her expertise about teaching. She knew how to teach a poem, how to speak the truth, and when to just pass out candy to the students. I taught in the room next door to her for a few years and heard the laughter from the students at her wit and the thoughtful silence as they learned and practiced new skills. Rosanne's teaching talents mattered to many students who will certainly remember her with appreciation.

Rosanne, you taught me a lot of lessons that have become part of my fabric. The Steinbeck family and all who had the pleasure of knowing you are saddened that you have left this mortal coil, but comforted knowing you are enjoying a new life. See you there.. .

I loved Rosanne. Just spending time with her chatting and laughing was a wonderful break from the stress of teaching. The Steinbeck contingent at Muir will miss her greatly.

I always thought of Rosanne at Christmas when I would put out my giant stuffed gingerbread man. Now it will have a deeper meaning for a person who will be deeply missed. Rest in Peace my bingo buddy.

Rosanne was one of the most generous teachers at Pioneer. When she retired she left about ten boxes of lesson plans for the new teacher taking her classroom. Rosanne was funny and caring. Many students speak of how special she was and how kind. Rosanne was my BTSA mentor. She constantly respected all of my ideas. She will be missed. I have lots of love and respect for Rosanne.
