MAXIE, Rudy- Entered into rest Thursday August 1st 2002 in Los Gatos Ca. Beloved husband of Theresa Maxie for 44 years. Loving father of Annette Mahmound and her husband Hamdi, Eddie Maxie and his wife Marilyn, Delores Sandoval and her husband Anselmo and Lisa Vargas. Cherished grandfather of Jasmine, Jihan, Amir, Eddie Jr., Angelina, Vanessa, Louis, Robert, Rudy, Rebeca, Anselmo III, Frank Jr., Stephen, and Rudy (tiny). Great-grandfather of Isaiah Maxie. Devoted brother of Bertha Gonzales of Stockton CA., Delmer Angulo of Tucson AZ. and Barbara and C. J. James of Tucson AZ. Also survived by numerous relatives.
A master plumber by trade, he was conscientious in his work. Rudy took pride in the work he did. For him plumbing was like art. You could drive anywhere in Santa Clara County and find projects he had been involved in. A retired member of Plumbers and Steam Fitters Local 393. His passing was not unexpected, he lived with great illness for 12 years, but lived life to its fullest. Rudy was involved in community service by working with many youth sports groups. He was truly a role model. A longtime resident of San Jose, age 64 years.
Friends are invited to attend funeral services Tuesday August 6th 2002 at 1:00 P.M. from OAK HILL FUNERAL HOME'S CHAPEL OF THE OAKS, 300 Curtner Ave. San Jose. Evening services Monday August 5th at 7:00 P.M. in the above chapel. Visitation 1 hour prior to each service in chapel. Burial in Oak Hill Memorial Park.
