Died peacefully at home in Mtn.View, Sat., November 6, 2010.
Beloved husband of Sharon Dolan for 44 years and the late Betty Dolan. Loving father of Arlene, Maryanne, Jane, Sheila, Samuel III and Sheryl. Proud grandfather of Ben, John, Hanni,
Albert, Elisha, Cullen, Michelle and Samuel IV. Sam was predeceased by his siblings: Bill, Mary and James. A native of Corvallis, Oregon, age 93 years.
Sam was a graduate of Oregon University, and was employed by Castle & Cooke for 46 years as a Cargo Claims Manager. He was member of the Knights of Columbus, The Exchange Club of San Jose, The SIRS of Palo Alto, the School Board for the Whisman School District, and a Veteran of WWII, Army Air Corps. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
Visitations will begin on Thurs. November 11, 2010 at 5:00 P.M. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M. at Cusimano Family Colonial Mortuary, 96 W. El Camino Real, Mtn. View. A Funeral Mass will be held on Fri., Nov. 12 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Athanasius Church, 160 N. Rengstorff Ave., Mtn.View. Interment at Skylawn Memorial Park, San Mateo. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Athanasius Maintenance/Bldg Fund preferred.

To the Dolan family, sorry for your loss, may GOD give you his LOVE, PEACE, and STRENGTH in this time of sorrow. I thank him for serving his country to keep us all SAFE and FREE he is and will always be a HERO to many. May he R.I.P <3

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you. Sam will always have a special place in my heart. He was always happy to see me and greeted me with a big, bright warm smile and wondering what and when I was going to feed him breakfast. I will miss him. I will always be here for you if you need anything. Love always...
