Steve Perez Obituary

Steve Perez Son of Margaret and Joseph Perez, brother of Richard Perez and Robert Del Campo, died unexpectedly Monday, October 24th at O'Connor Hospital in San Jose. Steve, the owner of Spraytronics of Santa Clara for the past 32 years and former owner of El Paraiso Mexican Restaurant in downtown San Jose will be sorely missed by friends and family.

Steve was born and raised in San Jose and grew up in Cambrian Park, attended Leigh High School and graduated in 1969. Steve played little-senior league and high school varsity baseball as a short-stop and pitcher. Later he sponsored, coached and played for Spraytronics Softball teams in Los Gatos recreation league for over 25 years. Steve, in the last three years turned his attention to golf, which he showed a great passion and promise for the game. He was a very generous person with his time, understanding and financial aid. He gave to charities throughout the year and would deliver as many as 25 turkeys to the food banks and kitchens during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Steve refused to be caught up in this fast paced world and thus touched so many hearts while he was with us. We all thank you!

Steve was laid to rest with love, honor and respect in Santa Barbara on Tuesday, November 1, 2005, All Saints Day.
